The Origami Dripper Air S is a reimagining of the iconic Japanese dripper, engineered for the demanding environments of high-volume cafes and travel brewing. While maintaining the world-renowned geometry of the original ceramic version, the "Air" series is constructed from AS Resinโa material selected specifically for its superior thermal stability and impact resistance.
Thermal Efficiency & Fluid Dynamics
Unlike ceramic, which can act as a heat sink if not preheated aggressively, the AS Resin construction has a lower thermal conductivity. This ensures that the water temperature remains stable throughout the entire extraction, leading to higher sweetness and more consistent results. The 20 deep vertical ribs create air channels between the filter and the dripper, preventing "stalling" and allowing for a fast, clean drawdown that highlights the sparkling acidity of specialty coffees.
Versatility by Design
The Origami Dripper is unique in its "open-source" filter compatibility. Its architecture allows it to be used with both Conical (V60-style) and Wave-style filters, giving the brewer complete control over the contact time and body of the final cup.
