A Liquid Manifesto: CIA โ Cherry Induced Addiction {Blend}
The CIA (Cherry Induced Addiction) is a bold departure from traditional blending. Designed as a "liquid dessert," this blend is a collision of two worlds: the floral purity of high-altitude Ethiopia and the structured sweetness of Colombia. It is an unapologetically modern coffee, crafted for those who demand intensity and "neon-lit" flavor clarity in their filter brew.
The Art of Co-Fermentation
This blend utilizes an Experimental Co-Fermentation process. By introducing fresh cherries during the fermentation phase of the Colombian component, the roastery has successfully fused organic fruit acids with the coffeeโs natural sugars. This technique doesn't just add flavor; it alters the molecular texture of the cup, creating a heavy, syrupy body that mirrors the experience of a fruit reduction.
Sensory Profile
CIA is designed to be a "fruit bomb," delivering a layered experience that evolves as the temperature shifts:
- Aromatics: Electric notes of wild berries and tropical zest.
- Primary Notes: Intense Cherry Candy and vibrant Orange Juice.
- Finish: A comforting, dense sweetness reminiscent of toasted Banana Bread.

Brewing Guidance
To maximize the "addictive" sweetness of this blend, we recommend a precise Filter Brew approach. Our preferred recipe uses a 1:16 ratio to highlight the juice-like acidity without losing the dessert-like base:
- Dose: 13g coffee / 210g water
- Temperature: 93ยฐC (199ยฐF)
- Grind: Medium-fine (25 clicks on Comandante C40)
- Character: High clarity, high sweetness, and a sparkling fruit finish.
