The Process
Unlike most decafs, this one is decaffeinated right where it's grown, using a gentle, natural method:
- 💧 Washed — The coffee is first processed as a classic washed lot
- ♨️ Warm-water soaks — The beans are immersed twice in 40°C water for four hours each
- 🍒 Natural solvent — A 24-hour soak in a solvent made from coffee pulp and husk draws out the caffeine
- ☀️ Rinse & dry — Washed again and dried for about five days
The Cup
Juicy raspberry leads, followed by a fresh, herbal rosemary note and a soft honey sweetness. Bright, clean and surprisingly vibrant — the kind of decaf you'll want to drink any time of day.
