Rumba 2026 Edition is DAK Coffee Roasters' latest vintage of one of their most-loved Ethiopian coffees β and it's easy to see why it keeps coming back. Grown in the Sidama Bensa region and processed at the Tulise Washing Station, this pour-over coffee delivers a lush, dessert-like cup: stewed strawberries up front, a brighter lift of apricot, and a smooth brown sugar sweetness that ties it all together, with just a whisper of liqueur-like depth.
The character comes from a dry anaerobic natural process suited to Ethiopia's water access realities: whole cherries ferment in a sealed, oxygen-free tank without added water, then dry slowly in partial shade for around 23 days with their pulp intact. The result is an intensely fruity, syrupy, and remarkably clean filter coffee β sweet enough to feel like dessert in a cup, balanced enough to drink all day.
This year's exceptional lot has earned its own limited packaging, so it won't be around for long.
