This is a classic, very fruity coffee from Rwanda, with the main flavor descriptor being cherry.
To create this coffee, beans from three processing stations were blended.
1οΈβ£ The first station is located in the Western Province of Rwanda and is called Kanyege. It is situated near the border with Congo, close to Lake Kivu. In this region, it is not as hot during the day, making it ideal for coffee production. Here, coffee is harvested from 1200 local small-scale farmers.
2οΈβ£ The second station is in the Northern Province and is called Karisimbi.
3οΈβ£ The third station, Gitega Hills, is located in the Southern Province. It was founded quite recentlyβin 2015.
Each region is suitable for coffee production but has different climates, giving the beans diverse flavor characteristics. Thanks to this, Rwanda Muteteri has become so vibrant and, at the same time, complex in taste. πβ¨
